- Two hours covers the north-south axis of monuments; three lets you enjoy the cypress groves and the local scene. Enter the East Gate from the subway, see the Hall of Prayer first, then work south to the Circular Mound.
- How do I get to Temple of Heaven?
- Line 5 to Tiantan Dongmen, Exit A, and you're at the East Gate — easiest approach by far. From Qianmen you can also walk south, but the East Gate puts you closest to the Long Corridor and main hall.
