Nuage is a Vietnamese-Chinese fusion restaurant occupying a beautifully restored traditional building right on the Houhai lakefront — the rooftop terrace with lake views is one of the most scenic dining spots in Beijing. The Vietnamese dishes like pho, fresh spring rolls, and lemongrass dishes are well-executed and refreshing. The location commands a premium and service can be slow, but for a sunset dinner with a view, it's hard to beat.
