Crescent Moon is a beloved Uyghur restaurant run by a family from Xinjiang, serving some of the most authentic Central Asian-influenced food in Beijing — hand-pulled laghman noodles, lamb skewers, samsa pastries, and the signature big plate chicken (da pan ji) are all excellent. The space is small and simple, and the English menu is helpful. It's a genuine cultural experience and a great value; arrive early as it fills up fast.
