Directions

This is the real gateway to North Shore wilderness, with colour-coded trails from the easy 5.2 km Lynn Loop along the creek up to the lung-busting climb to 992 m Lynn Peak. Come for old rainforest, the rushing Lynn Creek, and a genuine backcountry feel that's free and just 30 minutes from downtown. Honest caveats: you need a car to get here, weather turns fast, and the longer routes (Coliseum, Norvan Falls) are serious hikes where you're asked to self-register at the kiosk.
