Luna Park Sydney is a heritage-listed amusement park on the north shore of the harbour, instantly recognisable by its giant smiling-face entrance framed against the Harbour Bridge. Entry to the grounds is free, and you buy ride passes or single tickets if you want to go on the attractions. It's smaller than a big theme park and rides cost extra, but the retro charm, waterfront setting and skyline views make even a stroll worthwhile.
