- The full loop to and from the suspension bridge is roughly a 10km, 3-4 hour trek depending on your route and pace, as the bridge sits about 4.5-5km from the main entrance. It is moderate but long in the heat. Wear proper shoes and carry plenty of water.
- Are there monkeys, and are they a problem?
- Yes, long-tailed macaques are common along the trails, and they can snatch food, so keep snacks sealed and out of sight and do not feed them. Stay calm and do not make eye contact if approached. They are wild animals, so respect their space.
- When is the TreeTop Walk open?
- The TreeTop Walk suspension bridge opens Tuesday to Friday 9am-5pm and weekends and public holidays 8:30am-5pm, and it is closed on Mondays (except public holidays) for maintenance. The gate shuts at 5pm sharp, so start hiking toward the bridge by around 4:45pm at the latest from the ranger station. Aim to arrive much earlier.
