Musée Archéologique de Rabat

Morocco's most important archaeological museum holds an extraordinary collection of Roman-era bronzes, prehistoric artifacts, and finds from Sala Colonia and Volubilis. The bronze sculptures — including the famous Ephebe of Volubilis — are genuinely world-class and rarely seen by tourists who skip this in favor of more photogenic sites. The building is modest and signage is limited, so some background reading beforehand helps. A must for anyone who visited Chellah or plans to see Volubilis.
