Directions

Prague's oldest public park, opened in 1833 and tucked just below Prague Castle, offering shaded paths, a romantic bust of the Romantic poet Julius Zeyer, and surprisingly few tourists given its location. The elevated position gives partial views over the Vltava and Malá Strana rooftops. It's a perfect quiet retreat after visiting the Castle. The park is small so it fills up on peak summer afternoons.
