The Torre Latinoamericana was Latin America's first true skyscraper and famously rode out the 1957 and 1985 earthquakes intact. Its 44th-floor observation deck gives the best 360-degree panorama of the sprawling capital, especially at sunset with the volcanoes on the horizon. The view depends entirely on the smog and haze, which can be heavy, so pick a clear day.
