Known fornatureprairielakefrontconcerts
A 91-acre peninsula park converted from the old Meigs Field airport, now featuring native prairie plantings, a lakefront trail, fishing piers, and a large outdoor concert venue. The prairie restoration is genuinely impressive and the bird migration in spring and fall draws serious birders. The Huntington Bank Pavilion hosts major concerts with tickets required. Outside of concert nights the park is remarkably quiet given its proximity to downtown.
