A spectacular walled Mayan city perched on a cliff above turquoise Caribbean water, one of the Yucatán's most photographed ruins and an easy day trip south of Cancún. You can combine the ruins with a swim at the beach below. Since 2025 all visitors must enter through the new Parque del Jaguar, adding fees and a longer walk, and it gets hot and crowded by midday.
