Known formountain bikingtrailslocal favoritedog-friendly
A sprawling 293-acre park in North Austin with one of the city's best mountain biking trail networks, plus hiking, a dog park, and open sports fields. It's a genuine local park with almost no tourist presence — the crowd is entirely made up of North Austin residents, trail runners, and serious mountain bikers. The singletrack trails are well-maintained and range from beginner to intermediate. A great counterpoint to the more crowded south Austin parks.
