Directions

A scenic Lake Washington beach on the Bailey Peninsula in southeast Seattle, surrounded by one of the city's last old-growth forest parks. The calm, clear water is excellent for swimming and kayaking, and the loop trail around the peninsula offers spectacular lake views. It draws a diverse, neighborhood crowd and feels genuinely removed from the tourist circuit. The park can fill up fast on summer weekends and parking lots close when full.
