Known forwaterfrontforestWest Seattlehidden gem
A sprawling 135-acre forested park on the Puget Sound shoreline in West Seattle with saltwater beaches, tide pools, and miles of wooded trails. The Colman Pool, a heated saltwater outdoor pool, is a summer institution. The beach walk at low tide with views of the Olympic Mountains is genuinely spectacular. It's a bit of a trek from central Seattle but absolutely worth it for the payoff.
