Villa Ada

A vast, slightly wild 160-hectare park that was once the private estate of the Savoy royal family, now beloved by Romans for its shaded trails, small lakes, and relaxed atmosphere. It draws a genuinely local crowd of joggers, families, and dog walkers rather than tourists. The terrain is more naturalistic and less manicured than Borghese, which is part of its charm — wear comfortable shoes as paths can be uneven.
