Known forImpressionisticonicmanageable sizemust-see
A small, perfectly curated museum best known for Monet's monumental Water Lilies murals displayed in two oval rooms designed by the artist himself — an immersive, almost meditative experience. The lower level holds an excellent collection of early 20th-century works by Cézanne, Renoir, Matisse, and Picasso from the Walter-Guillaume collection. Lines can be long without a timed reservation, so book ahead. The intimate scale makes it far less exhausting than the Orsay.
