Directions

An 85-acre waterfront park built on former industrial piers along the East River, offering some of the most dramatic views of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge anywhere in the city. Pier 1 is ideal for sunset watching, Pier 6 has excellent playgrounds and a beach volleyball court, and Jane's Carousel on Pier 0 is a beautifully restored 1922 antique. The park is extremely popular on weekends and the area around the carousel can feel like a tourist corridor.
