Jewel of the South is a refined cocktail bar and restaurant from acclaimed bartender Nick Detrich, occupying a beautifully restored 19th-century cottage on St. Philip Street. The cocktail program is rooted in New Orleans history with impeccable technique, and the food menu from chef Chris Spear is equally serious. Order the Gin Fizz or any of the house originals.
