Marine Drive

Marine Drive is Mumbai's famous C-shaped seafront boulevard, lined with Art Deco buildings and rimmed at night by a curve of streetlights nicknamed the Queen's Necklace. Locals come at all hours to walk, court, and watch the sun set over the Arabian Sea from the promenade wall. There is no swimming here and the rocks below are not clean, so it is for strolling, not bathing.
