Known foriconic buildingworld-class programmingcultural hubPaseo del Arte
A stunning Herzog & de Meuron conversion of a former power station, notable for its gravity-defying cantilevered facade and the adjacent vertical garden by Patrick Blanc. The programming is consistently excellent — major international art and science exhibitions rotate every few months. It gets busy on weekends but the building itself is worth the visit regardless of the show. The café and bookshop are genuinely good.
