Perched on a hill in Greenwich Park with sweeping views across the Thames and Canary Wharf, this is where Greenwich Mean Time was established and where the Prime Meridian line runs through the courtyard. Standing astride the line at longitude 0° is a genuinely satisfying experience. The Planetarium shows are excellent for families. The journey by Thames Clipper from central London is itself a highlight and worth factoring into the trip.
