The Mob Museum, officially the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, occupies a former downtown courthouse and tells the story of the mafia and the fight against it through interactive exhibits, real artifacts and the actual courtroom used in the 1950s Kefauver hearings. There's even a working speakeasy and distillery in the basement. It's genuinely engaging and well-curated; allow a couple of hours and expect crowds on weekends.
