Blue hour — the 20-30 minutes just after sunset — when the sky still has color and the towers are lit. Shoot from KLCC Park's pool side for the reflection, or head to a rooftop bar like nearby SkyBar for an elevated angle. Midday sun is harsh and washes the towers out.

Is KLCC a good area to stay?

It's a solid, upmarket base — safe, central, on the LRT, walkable to Bukit Bintang via the skybridge, and surrounded by good hotels. It's pricier and more corporate than Bukit Bintang, quieter at night, and better if you want polish and towers-view rooms over street-level buzz.

The Lake Symphony fountain runs several shows nightly (typically starting around 8pm and repeating into the evening), set to music and lights with the towers behind.
