KL Bird Park sits inside the Perdana Botanical Gardens and bills itself as the world's largest free-flight walk-in aviary, with more than 3,000 birds across some 200 species roaming a 21-acre valley under giant netting. You can walk among peacocks, hornbills and storks and catch daily bird shows and feeding sessions. It's a hit with families, though the tropical heat and humidity can make midday visits tiring.
