If you want temples and towers, no. If you want to see how well-off KL actually eats, drinks and lives on a weekend, absolutely. It's a 'live like a local' stop, not a sightseeing one — best paired with an evening free of an itinerary.

Is Bangsar walkable from the LRT station?

Technically yes, but the Bangsar LRT sits down on Jalan Bangsar and the fun part (Bangsar Baru) is a sweaty 15-minute uphill walk away. Most people just grab a Grab for a few ringgit. Don't feel bad about it — locals do the same.

How do I get from KLCC to Bangsar?

Grab is easiest and cheap (roughly 15-25 minutes depending on traffic). By rail it's a bit of a faff — LRT changes and then a walk — so unless you love trains, just Grab it, especially at night.

Split your time: Lucky Garden (Jalan Telawi's older sibling) for cheap, brilliant hawker food and banana-leaf curry, then Jalan Telawi for cafes, brunch spots and cocktail bars. It's one of the few KL areas where you can eat RM8 noodles and RM40 pasta on the same street.
