Nelson Mandela Bridge

The Nelson Mandela Bridge is a 284-metre cable-stayed span linking Braamfontein with the Newtown cultural precinct over Joburg's railway yards, opened in 2003 and named for the former president. It's a modern symbol of the city and a striking sight, especially lit up at night.
