Hong Kong's first heritage trail, winding through the ancient Ping Shan villages of the Tang clan with centuries-old ancestral halls, a Song Dynasty pagoda, and a walled village that most tourists never discover. The Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda is the only surviving ancient pagoda in Hong Kong. The trail takes about 90 minutes at a leisurely pace and is genuinely off the beaten path. Some signage is limited so downloading a map beforehand is advisable.
