Feria de San Pedro Telmo

The Sunday outdoor antiques and crafts fair that takes over Defensa Street from Plaza Dorrego all the way down to Parque Lezama is one of the city's great weekly rituals. Tango dancers perform in the plaza, vendors sell vintage silverware, leather goods, and Argentine curiosities, and the energy is genuinely festive. It is touristy but also beloved by porteños, so authenticity and spectacle coexist. Arrive before noon to beat the thickest crowds and get first pick of the stalls.
