Birkin is a charming neighborhood café-bakery in the residential north of the city that locals in Núñez and Belgrano treat as their daily ritual spot. The croissants and baked goods are among the best in the city, and the coffee is well-sourced and carefully made. The space has a warm, European-influenced feel without being precious about it. It's far enough from the tourist trail that the crowd is almost entirely local, which is exactly the point.
