Zum Schmutzigen Hobby ('The Dirty Hobby') is a beloved Neukölln dive bar that perfectly encapsulates the neighborhood's gritty-creative energy — cheap Club Mate and beer, a pool table, and a crowd of artists, night-shift workers, and regulars who've been coming for years. The name is a joke and so is the decor, but the community feel is completely genuine. Open until very late most nights. It's loud, smoky (outside area), and absolutely not for everyone — which is exactly why locals love it.
