A sprawling, hands-on celebration of technology and industry housed in a former railway depot, with full-size locomotives, historic aircraft (including a 'Raisin Bomber' C-47 on the roof), ships, and interactive science exhibits. The adjacent Science Center Spectrum offers dozens of participatory experiments. Families with children consistently rate this among Berlin's best days out, but adults without kids find it equally absorbing. Allow at least three hours — the site is enormous.
