A stunning covered market designed by Enric Miralles with a spectacular mosaic roof, serving the Ribera neighborhood since 1848 in its current rebuilt form. It's far less touristy than La Boqueria and offers genuinely excellent fresh produce, fish, and meat stalls used by local residents. The prepared food counters and small bars inside are great for a working lunch. Parking and access are easy from the Jaume I metro, though it closes on Sunday afternoons and Mondays.
