- Around an hour to 90 minutes at a relaxed pace with the tablet. The route is one-way and can bottleneck when busy, so a quiet slot makes it flow much better.
- What are the Magical Nights?
- From March to November they run evening rooftop sessions with live music and a drink, tickets from around €55. It's atmospheric and much less crowded than daytime, a nice option if you'd rather sip cava under Gaudí's chimneys than shuffle through with the crowds.
- How much are tickets and which tier should I get?
- There are four tiers: Silver (self-guided) around €29, Gold €35, Be the First €45, and Theatrical €49. For most people Silver is enough and includes the augmented-reality tablet and rooftop. Book on casabatllo.es to save €4-12 versus the door.
- Is it accessible for wheelchairs or strollers?
- Partially. There's lift access to most floors but some historic areas and the rooftop have steps and uneven surfaces. Contact them ahead if you have specific needs; the location itself couldn't be more central and step-free to reach.
- Is it worth the price?
- Honestly it's pricey for what's a fairly quick visit, and it leans touristy. But the architecture is genuinely extraordinary and the AR overlays are well done. If you only see one flashy Gaudí interior, it delivers.
- Do I need to book in advance?
- Yes, in high season. Timed-entry slots sell out and walk-up is expensive and often full. Book a day or two ahead online, both to save money and to guarantee your time.
- Is the rooftop included in the cheapest ticket?
- Not the very cheapest anymore. Since 2025 the Dragon's Rooftop, the famous scaly one, needs at least the Silver ticket. Double-check what your tier includes at checkout so you don't miss the best part.
- Is Casa Batlló or Casa Milà better if I can only do one?
- Casa Batlló is more colourful, immersive and gimmicky with its AR tablets; Casa Milà (La Pedrera) is more architecturally pure with a stunning rooftop of chimney sculptures. If you want wow-factor and don't mind theme-park polish, Batlló. If you want Gaudí's ideas, Milà.
