The original Benchakitti Park — not to be confused with the newer Benjakitti Forest Park — wraps around a scenic lake near the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and is a favorite among Sukhumvit-area office workers and joggers. The 1.5 km lakeside loop is well-lit and maintained, making it excellent for early morning or evening runs. Flamingos and other birds can be spotted near the water's edge. The park is smaller than Lumphini but far less crowded and more intimate.
