Directions

One of Amsterdam's oldest public parks, Oosterpark is a graceful English-landscape-style green space in the diverse Oost neighborhood. It features a large pond, the powerful Theo van Gogh memorial sculpture, and a relaxed multicultural atmosphere that reflects the neighborhood perfectly. The park is popular with local families and young professionals and rarely feels overrun. A great base for exploring the nearby Tropenmuseum and Dappermarkt.
